NOTES
(1) Dans un mot composé, l'accent tonique principal est sur le premier mot, c'est à dire sur book, (cf Thank you). Case (kais) : valise, caisse ; bookcase : bibliothèque (meuble) lit : "caisse à livres".

(2) Please (plîz) : plaire ; s'il vous plaît.

(3) Thanks (merci) est plus familier que thank you.
